Kiekis: 500 g.
Pure magnesium chloride hexahydrate from the Zechstein Sea (approx. 47% concentration), water.
- For a foot bath: dissolve 100-150 g of flakes in 4 litres of warm water. Recommended duration: 20 minutes. Use 2-3 times a week.
- For a bath: dissolve the entire pack in warm (approx. 37 °C) water. Recommended bath duration is 20 minutes. Use once a week.
For a regular ritual, we recommend a foot bath once a week. Between baths, you can continue your magnesium routine with magnesium spray for skin.
This is a natural product, free from added fragrances or other allergens. However, if you have sensitive or problematic skin, we recommend testing the magnesium salt on a small area of skin before use.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of external wounds or burns, avoid salt baths. Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid magnesium salt baths in case of kidney failure, intestinal obstruction, myasthenia gravis (a neuromuscular autoimmune disease), and bradycardia (slow heart rate).
Keep tightly closed in the original packaging, in a dry, cool place, out of the reach of children. Protect from heat, moisture, and sunlight. Magnesium attracts water from the environment, which may cause it to harden or clump. It is important to keep it in a sealed package to prevent exposure to air and avoid the absorption of even the slightest moisture.
Approximately 250 million years ago, during the Permian period, the northern part of Europe was covered by the Zechstein Sea. As it evaporated, a thick layer of minerals remained on the seabed, which was covered by layers of rock over time. Today, these magnesium chloride deposits lie in the north of the Netherlands, at a depth of approximately 1600 m, protected from modern pollution.
Magnesium is extracted by solution mining: water is pumped into the depths to dissolve the minerals, and the resulting magnesium solution is brought to the surface. Through gentle evaporation of the water, pure magnesium chloride flakes are obtained, without any added substances.
Country of origin: Netherlands.
Packaging
The flakes packaging is made of three layers: matte polypropylene (MOPP), metallized PET (VMPET), and polyethylene (PE). The metallized layer is moisture and air-resistant. This is important because magnesium chloride flakes absorb moisture quickly and would harden or dissolve without a proper barrier. This ensures the product remains usable down to the last gram, with nothing going to waste.
Reuse
The zip-lock closure allows the bag to be sealed tightly after each use. If you do not use up the entire package at once (for example, when preparing foot baths), keep the flakes in the same bag; no additional containers are needed.
How to recycle
- Empty the bag completely and shake out any remaining flakes.
- There is no need to separate the zip-lock closure.
- Dispose of it in the yellow (plastic and metal) recycling bin. In Lithuania, multi-layer packaging is sorted specifically there.
Materials: MOPP / VMPET / PE (multi-layer plastic, 7 OTHER).
