Sauna ritual: strengthening the body
In the 1980s, scientists conducted a study of more than 2,000 men from Finland, a country with a long and popular sauna tradition. The study monitored lifestyle, health, and especially the frequency of sauna visits. The results showed that those who visited the sauna more often had a lower risk of cardiovascular disease and lived longer.
